Welcome to our community of people affected by ovarian cancer.

Hey there!

I'm Molly, the founder of Teal Ribbon RI.

At the beginning of 2025 and my 30s, I was diagnosed with stage III B ovarian cancer, immature teratoma. The experience has been wildly hard, but made easier by organizations and individuals that support cancer patients.

Sometimes, that help was hard to find. There  is simultaneously a lot and a little to be found on assistance during cancer. Often grants, therapy providers, and other supports are niche, specific to disease or location. Here, I condensed resources specifically for Rhode Islanders with ovarian cancer. Patients and caregivers from other states and navigating other cancers are of course welcome on this site and will find most, but not all, of the posts relevant.

This community was bred from my needs before, during, and after treatment. I'm not a doctor and none of the posts are medical advice, just pieces of information I picked along my journey. I hope that the resources here help you to feel less overwhelmed when navigating your treatment and healing.
