Struggling to answer when loved ones ask if you need anything?
Sometimes it's hard to know what you need, and even harder to ask for help.

WeGotThis is a non-profit organization that was created specifically for cancer patients.
Creating a cancer registry helps the patient communicate what they need during treatment, and caretakers get to know that their gift is meaningful. Any item can be aded by providing links to specific items on any website.
Monetary gifts can also be given through the site.
To help inspire what to put on a cancer registry, here are some items that I found helpful during treatment:

A blanket: one that you'll feel comfortable donating after treatment, if it reminds you of unpleasant times.

V-neck tops: for easy chest port access.

DoorDash or Ubereats gift cards: this was a popular item that people liked to purchase. I think they appreciated knowing that they were feeding me on nights during chemo when cooking wasn't an option.

Sweatpants: comfort is king during treatment.

Pill organizer: using one of these meant I only needed to think about pills once a week. All other days, I could mindlessly take the pre-sorted medicine.

Thank you notes and stamps: I felt immense waves of gratitude for my caretakers and the generosity from people I didn't even know. I wrote thank you notes during infusions to kill time, reminding me of bright spots in the world.

Hats: I mostly wore cute beanies and baseball hats.
